He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2011, after which he began medical training at Liverpool Hospital in 2012. He simultaneously completed a Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics) with the University of Sydney.
He commenced specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery on the Sydney Southside Training Network in 2016. He achieved the highest rank in the state for his specialist qualification exam (FEX) and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2021.
Dr Aggarwal undertook a further 18 months of postgraduate fellowship training in hand, wrist, and microsurgery at Liverpool Hospital, St Luke’s Hospital, and Sydney Hospital.
Dr Aggarwal places a strong emphasis on communication, good surgical outcomes, and holistic care in the management of his patients. He has over ten years of surgical experience. Currently, he has both public and private hospital appointments and performs surgery on conditions of the hand, wrist, and peripheral nerves.
He has public appointments as a hand surgeon at the specialist hand units at Sydney Hospital and Liverpool/Fairfield Hospitals. He operates privately at St Luke’s Hospital, St George Private Hospital, and Kogarah Private Hospital.
